It’s fun to stay at the Y-M-C-A...
Sorry. That song is stuck in your head now, isn’t it? Well, get this stuck in your head instead… The YMCA’s International Wine Tasting Festival is this Sunday at Café do Brasil from 5-8 pm!
Now in it’s 8th year, the annual event is a way for the Oklahoma City YMCA to raise money to continue to support its international partnerships with Ys in Belo Horizonte, Brazil; the Czech Republic; Valparaiso, Chile; the Mexican Federation of Ys and the SIOUX YMCA in South Dakota. And what a fun way to raise money it is!
Attendees are treated to delicious dishes from several sponsoring restaurants, including: Café do Brasil, McNellie’s, Pachinko Parlor, 1492, Kaisers and Stella. Plus, a local wine merchant is bringing in cases of wine that were chosen to be paired with these stunning dishes. The fun doesn’t stop there, though!
ROBYN teamed up with the YMCA to provide the first 200 attendees a commemorative 2012 “A Taste of Culture” souvenir wine glass with a YMCA charm. Plus, there will be a Tango dance performance and fabulous items up for auction.
Advance tickets can be purchased here for $50 or buy them at the door for $65. Either way, both you and the YMCA win! Delicious international food, premium wines and a great time… all in the name of helping a great organization.
