In lieu of our regular weekly post about one of our clients, we wanted to take a moment to thank our friends across the country who have contacted us to see if ROBYN Promotions was affected by the recent tornadoes and if are were ways they can help. There are.

Living and working in Oklahoma City, we are familiar with the damage tornadoes can inflict. Members of our team have had first-hand experience with twisters. Heck, we test our sirens every Saturday at noon just to make sure they work properly. On May 20th, however, our neighbors on the south side of town experienced the worst tornado ever recorded. Fortunately for ROBYN, our facilities are 20 miles away from the swath of destruction and none of our employees were directly affected. However, we have friends and clients who were, and we feel their pain.
During times like these, everyone wants to help. In fact, officials had to ask the local media to tell people to stay home so the first responders could do their jobs. They asked instead that people pray and send supplies. ROBYN was proud to play a small part in this recovery by providing tote bags, sunscreen, flashlights and battery back-ups for cell phones to the victims. And, we have cases of hand-crank weather radios en route to give to these survivors who won't have electricity for days - or weeks - to come.
The road to recovery is going to be long and these survivors will need all the support they can get. You can help. The links below may be used to donate cash online to reputable agencies who are doing amazing work:
The American Red Cross of Central Oklahoma
The Salvation Army
Feed the Children
If you have supplies you would like to donate, you can ship them directly to the ROBYN Promotions offices (marked "Tornado Relief"). With our receiving, warehousing and shipping capabilities, we will be honored to make sure your donation makes it to the right people.
